Anitra Sweetra's "Recipe for Acknowledging"

If you need a pointer on how to acknowledge, try this for inspiration:

Close your eyes, drum up an image of the woman in your mind. See her face, her body, her being standing before you. Take a deep breath. Let her essence take shape in your mind and heart. From there, remember a moment or time you shared that really sticks out in your memory as extra special; or, describe the quality of how she feels in this moment in your heart. Share an experience you had with her that you are truly thankful for...

DRILLING FOR HOPE
Reprint from "Mothering" Magazine
www.mothering.com

During times in our lives when we feel oppressed or dominated by others, it can be difficult to remain hopeful or to feel powerful. The early days and weeks of motherhood are one of those times. We love the baby madly, but mourn the loss of control over our own lives. In order to regain a semblance of control, we learn new attitudes and habits for tough times. -- More>>
