"Into the Light"

I am a self taught artist painting in oils and acrylics. I am as eclectic in my painting as I am in everything else. I like change every now and then, it makes things more interesting. It would make me uncomfortable to tie myself down to any particular type of painting. I like experimentation.  

If I am feeling the spirituality of my emotions, I may paint something in abstract expressing how I feel as I go along. When I am enthralled by the fragrance and beauty of flowers, I may be tempted to do a floral. The beauty of fall with the reds, oranges and yellows may inspire me to paint a landscape. I paint what I want when I want to.

I find that being able to exercise these rights as an artist helps to keep that "inner eye" open to multiple possibilities and helps to feed my creativity.
