Approximately 200 people were represented from the Councils of the Principal Ajq'ijab' of the Great Mayan Confederation in Guatemala , counting the presence of more the sixty Ajq'ijab from different linguistic communities from four Mayan nations, Xinka, Garifunas and Spanish. Those represented came from Peten, Izabal, San Luis Jilotepeque Jalapa, Santo Domingo de Guzman, Izalco, Cojutepeque, Usulutan, Solola, Santa Cruz Quiche, Cabrican Quetzaltenango, Comalapa, Chuarrancho, San Pedro Sacatepequez, San Juan Sacatepequez, Trapiche el Agua, San Miguel Chicaj, Chimaltenango, Patzun, Tecpan, San Martin Jilotepequez, Rabinal, Cuidad Capital, Sacapulas, Santiago Atitlan, San Pedro la Laguna, Nahuala, Pachay las Lomas San Martin Jilotepeque, los Tunayes San Martin Jilotepeque, Antigua Guatemala, and San Andres Semetebaj.

Results of the Gathering:

Reunited in harmony, the majority has reached a consensus on the following agreements:

1. After the fifth gathering Walking Around the Sacred Fire , we are reminded of the necessity of the union and alliances between all human beings that live on the Mother Earth and under the same Sky to be able to serve the Heart of Heaven and the Heart of the Earth, with the riches of our elements, the cultures, the languages, the traditions, and the ancestral teachings of our America from the land of fire in South America to the glaciers of Alaska, of our great peoples and our great native land.
2. We have analyzed the problems of our peoples and found that they are similar, stemming from the same lack of conscience and ancestral spirituality, and with the consequence of the violation of natural laws. We received two letters of support and they were read before the Sacred Fire, one from the Hawaiian Peoples, and the other from the lands of the Haida Nation in Canada . With anticipation of this Sacred Circle we also received letters from Bolivia , Chile , and Peru , where we visualize the terror of the same bad being called the Human Being that governs our ancestral people.
3. It has become necessary to create schools with pure indigenous teachings to reclaim the moral, cultural, and spiritual values of our many peoples. In the case of Guatemala , five schools or centers need to be created to be able to teach the children and youth that everything has its own era and time according to our sacred Mayan calendar. These are the ones who will govern the future and judge consciously.
4. Worried by the killings, assassinations, and intimidation of the people that administer us, we agree to give more importance to sharing the cosmovision, practice of our ancestral thoughts, and the original spirituality of our peoples with conscious people, as defined by the necessities of our elements and of our original peoples.

1. The fanaticism of the existing religions misjudges the indigenous Mayan practices; in the case of Guatemala , this is due to the lack of consciousness and the importance of understanding the sacred texts (like the Bible in its two parts):
• Old Testament
• New Testament
• The Bagavad Gita
• The Koran
• The Pisto Sophia
• The Popul Vuj
• The Codixes that exist in a variety of archives of different villages
• The Talmud and fragments of these ancestral books throughout all the peoples
2. It has become necessary not to misjudge spiritual practices and create respect and consciousness for all spiritualities that are practiced in the world. This is the declaration sent by the Vatican in 1990, where the Catholic Church asked for forgiveness for the damage caused to many peoples by what they call the New Evangelicization. Before this, the Mayan people, through their Aj Q'ijab' representatives of the Great Confederation, took the following position: Only the Ajaw, God, the Creator of all things, can pardon. We the Maya cannot pardon, we can only excuse. There are many documents and movies about this because our peoples have suffered with the Sword and the Cross, and they count with our disciples as children and grandchildren- everything else we leave to the Creator and Nature.
3. The alliances have become necessary to create unity as well as gain grants/scholarships in support of the people so that we can develop new conscious spiritual and political leaders. In the prophesies and in our codex it talks about a new generation- people made of honey that will be the return of the new Q'anil, the new dawn. The sprouts of the children of this Fifth Grandfather Sun will bring us to the sixth sun and its next energies in the Oxlajuj (13) Baqtuns- the new time, the new count, and to be united in our lives in the Zero time. The Sun and the Earth will have these seeds because in this fifth sun we do not have any hope in the administrators of the people. In the Gregorian Calendar it is written for the year two thousand and five, plus zero, plus zero, plus two, where there are these teachings and news and messages for the new dawn.
4. The most important and immediate accord is that in the month of October of the Gregorian date we will have the honor to count honorable and important people among us like the King of Hawaii and other people that have models for their peoples, to be able to mold and mature this idea for the new model.
5. We ask humanity as a whole, its organizations, and our people, to be Guardians of all of the elements, but especially the fire element that is our blood- the heat that we carry throughout our body. This should be used in a good way, without intoxicating it or exploiting it, as the fire can be a danger that has to do with the nuclei of atoms that can bring great danger to our peoples. We ask all of our administrators that they do not disrespect the Great Grandfather Fire, as it has already disrespected all of the other elements, and with its sickened elements, has planted a culture of global death on our Mother Earth. An example of this is the death of our brothers and sisters in Malaysia , in the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean . We need to do prayer and ceremonies for our oceans to the Spirit of the Water, and should remember these examples and take them into account, becoming ourselves the guardians. Now that the network of communication is so easy, a way of helping the elements in denouncing those that disrespect them.
